Terms of Business

Wheelhome Terms of Business for campervans and Dashaway ECT2/ECTS.

We would like to acknowledge the assistance of Essex Trading Standards in helping us put these terms together.

A written quotation will be issued detailing the specification of the vehicle you have chosen. Should you wish to proceed a non-returnable deposit of £2,000 is required. The deposit will confirm your build slot on our production schedule along with an expected completion and delivery date.

For brand new vehicles: In addition to the deposit, 50% of the quoted total will be required prior to the purchase of the base vehicle (typically 4-6 weeks before your job start date). Your vehicle will be registered in your name and you will own it from the time we collect it. A final invoice will be raised the week prior to delivery. Final payment is via BACS or Bank Transfer.

For used vehicles: In addition to the deposit, 50% of the quoted total will be required prior to the purchase of the base vehicle (typically 6-8 weeks before your job start date). Wheelhome will travel around the U.K. to source this vehicle, the cost of which is included in your quote.

Delivery is included free of charge within the U.K. mainland once completed and cleared funds have been received.

Wheelhome Warranty

Campervans and Dashaway ECT2/ECTS: 12 months warranty on new vehicles and ex-demonstrators, 6 months for used vehicles. In the unlikely event of a failure with the Wheelhome conversion you must notify us at the earliest practical time and obtain written (i.e. email) agreement before incurring any costs for any claim. We will normally authorise a local-to-you garage to carry out repairs, although we reserve the right to have our own garage carry out repairs if we feel it appropriate. Wheelhome reserve the right to repair, replace or modify as we deem best.

We recommend that habitation servicing is carried out by your local caravan or motorcaravan dealer, or mobile engineers. Wheelhome conversions require less servicing than typical motorcaravans and caravans as much of the equipment is maintenance-free (and gas-free).

Base Vehicle Warranty

Campervan base vehicles come with the balance of their own manufacturer's warranty. Vauxhall vehicles come with 36 months from date of registration. These warranties remain unaffected by the Wheelhome conversion and normal vehicle servicing is carried out by the main dealers.

The above warranties are in addition to your statutory rights and do not affect them.
