London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) information for Wheelhome Motorcaravans.

Broadly speaking, Wheelhome campers registered in 2012 on, are very likely to be considered ULEZ compliant. See vehicle checker below.

The London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) is being expanded on 29th August 2023 to cover almost out to the M25. See TFL’s map for exact information.  If you own, or are thinking of buying an older vehicle you are strongly advised to check whether the vehicle meets the ULEZ requirements because non-compliant vehicles will be subject to a £12.50 daily charge.

Petrol vehicles:  To be ULEZ compliant petrol vehicles must be Euro 4 or higher. In practice, this generally means vehicles first registered with the DVLA after 2005.  However, there can be significant exceptions as some manufacturers were already meeting the standards prior to this date. We strongly recommend using the TFL registration checker below to be sure.

Diesel vehicles: To be ULEZ compliant diesel vehicles must be Euro 6 or higher.  In practice, this generally means vehicles first registered with the DVLA after September 2015. However, from April 2012, Wheelhome conversions were registered in such a way that they are very likely to be considered ULEZ compliant.

You can check if a vehicle is ULEZ compliant by entering it’s registration on the Transport For London (TFL) website, or click the link:  TFL link
