We very much appreciate your valued interest in our garageable campers and trust you will find our website informative and helpful. We are a very small family company established in 1986 by proprietor Stephen Wheeler, so we have now been designing and building our multi-award winning little campers for over three decades!

Out and about magazine/web said "The finished products look as if they have emerged from a high-tech, modern factory, yet bar the upholstery and some of the special paint jobs, they are all designed and built in-house at their Essex base.

We build one single berth motorcaravan called Vikenze II and a small touring caravan (that you tow) called Dashaway e caravan.  Click on the photos across the top or tabs for full info on these.

All Wheelhomes (past and present) are thoughtfully designed to provide, amongst many other features, sufficient room to access the fridge, and use a Porta Potti at all times, including when the beds are made up, unlike most other makes!

“The campervans may be small in size but they have incredible usability, with features that are often missing from much larger leisure vehicles”  (Camping and Caravanning Club August 2019).

Built to a very high level of quality with equipment to match including Leather/suede upholstery, electric induction hob, microwave and electric oven/grill cooking system with powerful batteries and inverter (so you can cook whilst away from a campsite), electrically operated elevating roofs.

Should you decide to order with us Stephen will personally deliver your Wheelhome to your home, free of charge anywhere in the U.K. mainland and give a thorough, detailed and un-rushed hand-over.

Our after-sales care is, we believe, second to none, indeed, we are past winners of a Gold rating for customer satisfaction by Practical Motorcaravan magazine. So you are assured of our continuing support for the whole time you have your Wheelhome.

We are very proud to say that there is a Wheelhome owner’s club, formed in 1999, which is run by enthusiastic Wheelhome owners (not us!).

We do not convert on any other vehicles, carry out part conversions, or hire our campers.

Where can I see a Wheelhome? We exhibit at a number of outdoor shows, starting with Peterborough, in April, but please check our website for up-to-date info or contact us. Alternatively, you are most welcome to view and order our campers at our premises near Brentwood, Essex, but this has to be strictly by appointment as we do not always have demonstrators in stock. We do not have any dealers or other outlets.

We take cars and Wheelhome Motorcaravans in part exchange. Please do not hesitate to contact us via our Contact Form if you would like to arrange a viewing or have any questions.

Dashaway to Shetland! Read all about it! July 2018, Stephen Wheeler of Wheelhome took the all electric Dashaway e caravan to the stunning Shetland Isles. See tab left.

Wheelhome: “the undisputed champion of ingenuity when it comes to making the most of a micro-camper”, according to Which Motorhome magazine (now What Motorhome).

Wheelhome produced Motorcaravans are not subject to the London Low Emission Zone (This is not the case with some of our competitor's vehicles, so watch out!). Wheelhome campers are small campers, small Motorcaravans, compact Motorcaravans, compact campers, micro campers, micro Motorcaravans. Call them what you want, but to us, they are Garageable Campers! Enjoy!

Quotes from the mags.

October 2014 MMM magazine had a report on our Skurry, they gave it the maximum of 5 stars saying "...the Skurry is the benchmark"

August 2013 issue of Which Motorhome magazine, had an "Economy test" of a variety of campers, including the Skurry. "If we'd broadened our economy remit to include aspects of the conversions, too, there's little doubt this (the Wheelhome Skurry) would have been our overall winner". "49.1 mpg". "It's also true to say the Skurry has almost infinitely more storage than any of it's same-size rivals". "Arguably, every vehicle in this month's showdown has a fair bit of character. It's just the Skurry has more than most". Thanks Which Motorhome!

Please note; We do not convert on any other vehicles or carry out part conversions (including elevating roofs). Wheelhome campers can only be ordered direct from Wheelhome in Brentwood, Essex. We do not sell out side of the U.K.
